2011年9月14日上午，美国佛罗里达理工大学副校长T. Dwayne McCay博士,在机械与航空系主任许培锋教授的陪同下访问中航工业商发，与商发副总经理张玉金、总经理助理曾海军等进行会谈，并商讨后续合作事宜。

佛罗里达理工大学是美国著名学府，凭借其强大的研发能力，在航空航天研究领域享有盛名，并与西门子, 洛马等业内知名公司有广泛的业务合作。

张玉金副总经理代表商发对美国客人的到访表示热烈欢迎。在听取了商发国际合作部部长程锦胜关于商发公司概况、各项建设工作开展情况和CJ-1000A项目研发进展的介绍后， McCay博士高度肯定了商发创新进取的精神、全球范围的视野、开放透明的企业架构、严整高效的管理模式。

随后，McCay博士对佛罗里达理工大学的发展历史、专业设置、人才培养、在航空航天领域参与的合作项目等作了简要介绍。

双方围绕海外人员招聘、基础技术研究等合作项目展开进一步磋商，就10月份由曾总带队对佛罗里达理工大学进行第一次正式访问达成初步共识，并争取在明年签定合作框架协议，为商发在美国成立第一个UIC奠定基础。

 September 14th , 2011, Executive Vice President Dr. T. Dwayne McCay and head of Mechanical and Aerospace Prof. XuPeifeng, from US Florida Institute of Technology (FIT), has come to visit ACAE. They received warm welcome from Mr Zhang Yujin, Mr Zeng Haijun, Mr Wang Zhiqiang and Mr Cheng Jinsheng。

FIT is a well-established multi-discipline university, and has strong capability in aerospace sector. The university has research tasks with first-class companies such as Siemens and Lockheed Martin.

After a short opening led by Mr. Zhang Yujin, Mr. Cheng Jinsheng gave us the guests a brief introduction about ACAE and the CJ-1000A program status. McCay gave his praise on ACAE’s spirit, global vision, open and transparent architecture and management. Dr. McCay then introduced FIT in terms of the history, faculties & departments, current status, students and connections with the aerospace industry.

FIT welcomes Mr ZengHaijun’s first visit to FIT this October. Further dialogues will be carried out over overseas recruitment and fundamental research cooperation. Both parties are pleased with the visit and wish to have cooperation framework agreement signed next year and prepare to establish ACAE’s first American University Innovation Centre.
